A Creative Journeyfeaturing: Gail Bracegirdle and Carol SanzaloneThis show runs from June 8, 2023 until July 2, 2023 Opening Reception: Saturday, June 10, 4-7 pm ![]() To honor Gail Bracegirdle, a special featured gallery exhibit with Carol Sanzalone will be showcased for the month of June. Inspired by images in nature, and the exciting patterns of life, this unique exhibit highlights a variety of creative techniques by two talented watercolor artists ~ It will be especially appreciated by collectors. Gail Bracegirdle creations, express the "environmentally sensitive nature of the medium". She presents images with color and texture, painting is her language and her "most comfortable form of communication is with watercolors." The variations she creates, allow for the capture of the visual characteristics of each image, and share her interest in the subject. "Gail B" ... as she signs her work ... studied textile design at Moore College of Art in Philadelphia and she enjoyed a career in that field for many years. Exploring new and creative challenges, she has dedicated her time and energy to painting in watercolor. This has included teaching at Artworks in Trenton, summer workshops in Ocean City, NJ, plein air workshops in South Carolina and New Mexico, and teaching children’s summer camps at Silver Lake Nature Center as a member of The Artists of Bristol. A longtime member at Artists’ Gallery, and resident of Bucks County, PA, Gail has also been represented by galleries in Washington Crossing and Bordentown, NJ. A signature member of the Philadelphia Watercolor Society, her award-winning work has been actively exhibited in group and solo shows throughout the region and is included in private collections in the United States, Europe, and Australia. She is a longtime and valuable member of the Artists’ Gallery family. Carol Sanzalone will also be exhibiting her watercolor and acrylic works. A longtime gallery member, art teacher and Graphic Designer, her paintings visually express the light, shadow and color patterns that enrich images, both realistically and abstractly, to express her impression of a subject.
