I see my photography as an artistic bridge connecting viewers to the hidden splendors of nature. My goal is to provide a compelling visual narrative that reminds the viewer of the crucial role of the remaining wilderness and the need to cherish and protect it. I try to blend my academic expertise as a Distinguished Professor of Biology at Rutgers University with my passion for art, photography, and conservation. I venture into the planet's most wild and secluded corners, to capture the fragile beauty of planet Earth and uncover our complex relationship with it.

I trained with renowned photographers in the US and Europe. My works have been published in over seventy major magazine articles, including National Geographic publications, featured at photography exhibitions, and used to decorate public buildings. All profits from my photography are devoted to supporting global conservation efforts, underscoring my commitment to the preservation and appreciation of our natural world.
