"It’s extremely emotional to deconstruct my photographs but when I see different images evolve from the weaving it becomes very exciting," says photographer Denise Jill Marshall of Blue Skies Above Photography.

A landscape photographer for more than 50 years, her recent work has focused on weaving her photographs. Using many different types of photographic printing paper to create new ways the light plays with the image.

In all this deconstruction she is able to create a new whole, in her art and in herself.

As a photographer she is motivated by light, color, and the feelings the subject evokes. She often goes on photography workshops capturing the unique architecture, landscapes, colors and water in Arizonia, California, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Saint Barthélemy and Utah as well as her surrounding areas in Bucks County.
