Carol Sanzalone

I am fascinated by the graphic impact of light, shadow and the striking color patterns that nature creates throughout seasons. My creative spirit is inspired by images I encounter in the Delaware Valley and beyond and I am currently painting in watercolor and acrylic on paper, canvas and primed masonite panels.

The experimental quality of water media, allows me to be continually enlightened by the wonderful experiences that happen along the way!

Through the years, my paintings have evolved, from work in oil and printmaking, in silkscreen and lithography, as well as degrees in Studio Art and Graphic Design. When I am painting, or considering a subject, I am always involved in considering the beauty and unique graphic quality of the color patterns and textures on the image.
