Meditations on Nature

Michael Schweigart is a painter whose subjects of choice include "landscapes that inspire a spiritual connection." Norine Kevolic is a multi-media artist who revels in the "profound beauty and elegance of natural elements like bamboo, thorns, and beach stones." Naturally, their work shares many of the same qualities. Now, the two artists will share a show.

Kevolic and Schweigart will offer "Meditations on Nature" at the Artists' Gallery in Lambertville, NJ, May 6 through June 5.

"Michael's paintings document the passage of time and light in nature in work that displays a startling blend of photo realism and evocative expressiveness," said Gallery spokesperson Laurie Nicholson. "Norine's work, using actual elements of nature to convey abstract ideas like peace, balance, and harmony offers the perfect complement."

Kevolic and Schweigart will host an opening reception for "Meditations on Nature" at the Gallery on Saturday, May 14 from 5 to 8 p.m.
