The exhibition explores the impact of trains and rail service throughout the northeast, especially the corridor between Philadelphia and New York. The artists are examining the public’s fascination with trains, and the feelings they inspire, ranging from awe to frustration. The artists are also looking at what trains mean to the communities they pass through, whether they are passenger, commuter, or freight trains.
