Artists' Gallery Helps Preserve Local Lands

"We're delighted to have the Artists' Gallery members contribute their gallery space and wonderful artwork in support of our preservation efforts", says Margaret Waldock, Executive Director of the Hunterdon Land Trust Alliance (HLTA). The Artists' Gallery will be showcasing a number of works that explore our relationship with our environment and highlight the natural beauty of the area. In addition, the gallery will donate forty percent of the sales of these works to the HLTA, as well as ten percent of any other works in the gallery.

The reception for the "Green" exhibition and sale is scheduled for Saturday, April 19th from 4:00 to 6:00 at the Artist Gallery. Instead of providing the traditional wine and cheese associated with art events, Blue Moon Acres, from Buckingham, PA, will provide top quality micro greens, herbs, vegetables, and edible flowers.

The Hunterdon Land Trust is Hunterdon County, New Jersey's only countywide land trust. Incorporated as a 501 (C) (3) organization in 1996, the membership organization is committed to preserving and protecting the rural landscapes and natural resources of Hunterdon County.
