Eric Rhinehart’s watercolors are inspired by his impressions and experiences in the East Coast, as well as the Caribbean and England.
From a comfortable beach house chair, to a pub in the English countryside, to a ferry boat in Martinique, Eric’s work is quietly vibrant, and effortlessly transports you to scenes that are both familiar and new.
Eric is an impressionist at heart; his intention with each piece is to capture the subject’s personality and its mood. “I use light and color to describe the physical and emotional weight of my subjects and what they tell the observer about who or what they are and why their existence is significant.”
Eric attended Parsons School of Design and lives in Summit, NJ with this wife and their two daughters.
